University of Lausanne Discrimination and fatigue level study completed February 2020: 16- students (50/50 gender split)  were subjected to three levels of intensity of physical exercise, mental stress and sleep deprivation

Three levels of intensity per fatigue sub-category (pulses were collected before and after each intensity and before and after each recovery):

Mental:
– low intensity activity ~10 min, “low speed” tasks on the computer
– moderate intensity activity ~30 min, “moderate speed” tasks on the computer
– high intensity activity ~45 min, “high speed” tasks on the computer
There was also a recovery period between these tasks, including a period of calm breathing, eyes closed.

Physical:
– low intensity activity ~30 min, low speed biking
– moderate intensity activity ~30 min, moderate speed biking
– high intensity activity ~30 min, high speed biking
Recovery period between these tasks: resting in sitting position, reading and talking to people allowed.

Sleep:
– 2 nights normal
– 2 nights sleeping only 4h
– 2 nights normal
Measurements presented here are done by the subjects as soon as they woke up.
